After watching way too many Dollar Store DIYs and hacks, I am like a kid in a candy store just walking into our local Dollar Tree. I must put myself on a budget of $5 a week for the DIY projects that I am working on and focus on one project at a time. It sounds simple however I know this will be a huge challenge for me and for the projects.
Today’s Five Dollar Friday haul came from the Dollar Tree. The colorful place mat, white wire basket, burlap ribbon and metal plant hangers are for the kitchen DIY that was posted a couple days ago. I will sharing the completed projects here and on Instagram in the following week.
Now for some Fun, Fast Food this Friday morning.
While out shopping, I spotted the Shorty’s Doughnut truck and had to stop and say hi. Isn’t this truck the cutest? It just makes me smile when I see it. The mom and daughter team behind all the specialty doughnuts they make are just as sweet!
To see some great, mouth watering photos check out their website https://www.shortysdoughnuts.com/ or find them on Instagram @shortysdoughnuts. They also do special events.
Even the nice guy in line didn’t mind being in my photo (I always ask). Doughnuts make everyone happy, right? Along with doughnuts, Shorty’s make the absolute best, homemade, gluten-free coconut macaroons. I do love their macaroons, however there are times I really miss being able to eat a doughnut. I wonder if I could create a good, baked, gluten-free doughnut? Is there such a thing?
That’s it for today. Hope to get the kitchen project finished up this weekend.
This was a Fantastic Friday and as always, Happy Creating!
